Maintaining a team of athletes requires a daily investment, because every day our dogs need affection, exercise, care and attention.
But beyond the time we give them, we have to feed them, look after them, maintain relevant equipment (sleds, quads, etc.), the equipment of the musher and the dogs (harness, boots, etc.), and finance travel on the races. Reaching and maintaining one’s status as one of the best Scandinavian mushers requires significant financial means.
